JAPANESE DAY – HUMANITARIAN ACTION OF NIS `ROTARY CLUB`

With humanitarian multimedia action Japanese Day, the members of Rotary and Rotarakt Club Nis –Naissus, organized on July 6 2012 the collecting of the resources for purchasing of medical equipment, caps for EEG of the cabinet of Children Clinic in Nis. Programme is made up as donors` night.

The guests were welcomed by distinguished artists Andjela Bratic - clarinet and Aleksandar Savic -cello and then the greeting words came by Sonja Denic, president and Milan Petrovic, secretary of Rotary Club Nis-Naissus . This significant activity was organized in the presence of His Excellency Toshio Tsunozaki, the Ambassador of Japan in Serbia and Nikola Obvradovic, District Governor 2012-2013, Rotary District 2483 for Serbia and Montenegro, as well as many guests, representatives of other may clubs, supported eminent Japanese jazz musicians, Keiko and Hokan Borjeson with their friends from Japan. They made closer Japanese culture with traditional jazz music and presentation of calligraphy, origami and ceremony of tea preparation. Humanity in practice with artistic programme is tradition of acting and gathering of Rotarians in our city.

Manifestation `Japanese day in Nis` was supported by Palilula Municipality on which territory is activity of Rotary Club Nis- Naissus.
